Scheduling & Eligibility
Please only schedule after these recovery windows:
At least 5 months post-final surgery
At least 3 months post-fat grafting
No pending procedures (nipple revision, dog ear removal, etc.)
Important:
No swimming, soaking, or hot tubs for 3 weeks after each session
Touch-ups must be completed within 1 year of original tattoo
Vitiligo Cases:
Shane has tattooed clients with vitiligo. Due to pigment resistance, he may or may not accept your case and will clearly outline expectations if he does.
HOW TO PREPARE
Be well-rested, hydrated, and fed
We cannot tattoo sunburned skin.
Wear comfortable clothing
No alcohol/marijuana/etc. on the day of your appointment
You may bring one guest.
Day of APpointment
Wait in your car until your scheduled time—Shane may be in session
Bring a valid photo ID or passport
You’ll fill out a release form upon arrival
Shane will walk through your design and color selection with you
Shane ensures privacy and a safe, focused environment
Aftercare instructions will be provided
For areola tattoos: each side takes approx. 20 minutes or less
If you have tape or adhesive allergies, let Shane know—he’ll adjust accordingly.

Pain levels vary. Some clients feel very little; others are more sensitive.
We recommend using a numbing cream like SuperNumb (10g tube) two hours before your appointment—cover it with plastic wrap. You can also ice the area or take ibuprofen afterward for comfort. -
Not at all. Tattooing feels very different from injections. Most clients say the process is much easier than they expected.

Yes. We’re happy to set up a phone call to walk you through the process and answer any questions.

Keep the bandage on overnight. Gently wash the area the next morning with unscented soap, then follow your aftercare instructions.

If you're on blood thinners, speak with your doctor before your session.

Yes—there are no restrictions for tobacco or nicotine.

Please avoid marijuana/THC for a few hours before your appointment. You can resume afterward.

Avoid sun exposure for at least 8 weeks. Sunlight can fade the pigment and reduce the 3D effect.

Please wait until the skin is fully healed. Tanned or sunburned skin can affect ink retention and color.

Yes. Healing may take a bit longer, but you’re still a candidate.
